PUO-40Ex - Conventional, flame detector (UV) - intrinsically safe

The detecto react to ultraviolet radiation with a wavelength of ~200 nm emitted by the flame. It is resistant to the influence of any artificial light sources that do not contain ultraviolet radiation. UV radiation acts on the surface of detector in the form of carbonated lamp which, as a result of photoemission, causes an increase in the number of pulses counted by the measuring system. The PUO-40Ex detector is an intrinsically safe device designed for explosion hazard zones installation.

Variety

Conventional, flame detector (UV) – intrinsically safe

Application

Designed to detect a flame that occurs during a fire. It is installed downstream the intrinsically safe separator in explosion hazard zones. Detector transmits the alarm signal to the fire alarm control panel when a threat identified

Compatibility

The PUO-35EX detectors can operate in lines/loops of the IGNIS 1000/2000 or the ADC-4001M side line adapter in POLON 4000 fire alarm control panels
