The POLON Studio application is a practical software dedicated for designers and a key support instrument for installers of fire alarm systems. It has an intuitive interface and functions that support work with POLON 6000 and POLON 3000 systems. It supports designers at the precise configuration process, correctness verification, flowcharts generating for supervision lines and creation of detailed reports on the parameters of the designed system. It helps installers to reduce implementation time and helps to eliminate the potential errors thanks to ease of use and versatility, Furthermore , it enables an easy conversion of POLON 4000 system configurations to POLON 6000 systems.
We recommend using the latest version of the Polon Studio software (version 1.4.0), which is essential for configuring the latest POLON 3000 series control panels. The software can be downloaded in the “Downloads” section for the POLON 3000 or POLON 6000 control panels.

POLON Studio USER LICENSE AGREEMENT.
Before installing POLON Studio, please read this Agreement, as it constitutes a legally binding license to use POLON Studio. If you do not accept any of the provisions of this Agreement, you must refrain from installing or otherwise using the POLON Studio software in its entirety or any of its parts. Installation or any other use of the POLON Studio software shall be deemed full acceptance of all terms and conditions of this Agreement.
THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT IS NOT A PURCHASE AGREEMENT, BUT IS AN END-USER RIGHTS AGREEMENT.
Installation of the Software is equivalent to the start of use of the Software.
By using the Software, you understand and agree to all the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement. If you do not accept any of the provisions of this Agreement, do not proceed with the installation of the Software and further use of the Software.
I Definitions
License – an accepted License Agreement for the use of downloaded software.
Licensor – POLON-ALFA S.A. with its seat in Bydgoszcz (85-861), ul. Glinki 155 entered
to the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under the KRS number 0000718974, NIP 5540311901.
Licensee – a natural person running a business activity, a legal person and an organizational unit without legal personality obtaining the right to use the POLON-STUDIO Program
Based on its authority.
Software – POLON Studio program in the form of an executable installation file.
II Licensing
(1) The license is granted upon installation of the Software.
(2) Subject to the limitations set forth in this Agreement, Licensor grants a license, as a non-exclusive and non-transferable license, to use the Software, under the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement in the course of Licensee’s business, for Licensee’s own use only, without the right of exclusive transfer or license to other entities or persons, to download, install, use and enjoy the Software on a desktop or laptop computer, including using mobile devices and the Internet.
3 The License entitles the Licensee to use the Software in the fields of exploitation necessary to use the Software for its intended purpose.
(4) Licensor reserves all rights not expressly granted to Licensee.
5 Licensee specifically:
– does not acquire ownership of the Software,
– is not authorized to grant licenses to third parties.
6 This License Agreement is a royalty-free agreement.
III License Terms and Conditions
(1) Licensee shall protect all copies of the Software from being downloaded or copied by third parties.
(2) Licensee shall not resell, transfer, sublease, lease, distribute, export, import, act as an intermediary or supplier or otherwise make available to third parties the rights relating to the Software or any part thereof.
(3) You shall not decompile, disassemble, submit the Software to any modification or other action to reproduce the source code or use the Software other than as provided by Licensor.
(4) It is forbidden to remove, change or cover up copyright notices to which the Software is subject.
(5) The Licensor reserves the exclusive right to modify, expand, update, translate, and repair the Program at its sole discretion.
(6) Licensor shall not be obliged to inform Licensee of any modifications, extensions, updates, translations or subsequent versions of the Software.
7 Licensee may download and install modifications, extensions or updates to the Software made available by Licensor on its website or directly provided to Licensee.
IV Duration
(1) The Agreement is concluded by your acceptance of its terms at the time of installation of the Software.
(2) The contract is concluded for an indefinite period.
(3) The Agreement is territorially unlimited, you have the right to use the Software in the territory of Poland and any other country.
(4) Each Party shall have the option to terminate the Agreement by giving one month’s notice, with legal effect on the last day of the following calendar month. The expiration or termination of the Agreement shall not affect the Parties’ obligations under the Copyright and Related Rights.
(5) In the event of termination of the license agreement, the Licensee agrees to destroy all copies of the product.
(6) The limitations of warranties and liability set forth below shall remain in effect even after termination of the License Agreement.
V Warranty
1. the Software is licensed, not sold, which excludes Licensor’s liability
Under the guarantee and warranty.
(2) The Licensor shall not be liable for the manner of use of the Software by the Licensee, and in particular for the use of the Program in violation of the Agreement and for damages related thereto.
(3) Licensee disclaims all implied warranties, guarantees, including but not limited to warranties of satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose or application to the Software.
VI Copyright and related rights
(1) The software is protected by Polish copyright law (Law of February 4, 1994 Dz.U. 1994
No. 24 item. 83), international copyright agreements and other rights
On the protection of intellectual property rights. Violation of these rights is subject to civil liability
As well as criminal.
(2) POLON-ALFA S.A. reserves all rights to the Software, including ownership. Unless otherwise stated, all copyrights of the Software covered by this License Agreement shall be vested in the Licensor – POLON-ALFA S.A., which is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the Software.
3 The program contains some third-party solutions for which the Licensor has permission to use them. The licensee has no right to use the included libraries other than through the use of POLON Studio The contents of the third-party licenses are included in Part VI.
(4) Licensor may make changes to the Software or related products at any time and without notice. However, it is not obliged to support or update the
Software unless expressly provided otherwise.
VI Related licenses
(1) The rights under this license do not extend to libraries:

VII Settlement of disputes
(1) Any disputes that may arise from the performance of the Agreement, the Parties undertake to resolve amicably.
(2) In the event that an amicable settlement of a dispute arising from the Agreement is not possible, the Parties shall adopt Polish law as applicable to resolve the dispute, which they shall submit for settlement to the court having jurisdiction over the Licensor’s registered office.
3 The original of the Agreement was drawn up in the Polish language. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version is binding.
(4) If any provision of the Agreement is found to be illegal, or leads to circumvention of the law, it shall be deemed null and void. Other provisions of the Agreement shall remain in force unless
It is clear from the circumstances that it would not have been concluded without them. The parties undertake that in such a situation they will enter into negotiations to replace the invalid provisions, with provisions that will realize the approximate economic purpose as much as possible.
