Visualization and control system - PA VENO is a certified system for integrating fire protection equipment. The PA VENO system is designed to manage the security of construction facilities. The system performs control, signaling, and monitoring functions and is designed for use in construction facilities. The main application of the product is the integration of fire alarm systems, security systems, systems building automation and other systems used to secure buildings.
The VENO PA system consists of the VENO computer program and hardware modules, ie:
Integration Device with VENO software in 19″ RACK server housing , Fire Alarm Control Panel with control functions in accordance with EN 54-2, UCS 6000 Universal Control Panel and POLON Adapter .
The VENO computer system allows supervision of incoming alarms from all integrated systems.
Messages about active alarms are displayed in the alarm bar, along with detailed information about which system and device they come from.
The operator can view and filter them. Searching and viewing alarm messages is supported by available filtering options, i.e. Filtering by device, priority, time and item type.
The messages are active on the alarm bar until the operator acknowledges reading them. It is possible to add operator comments to each alarm message.
Archived messages and events are available in the event log window. The VENO computer system installed in the Integration Device module works as server software (hereinafter VENO SERVER) and allows connecting client stations with the VENO application in CLIENT mode (hereinafter VENO CLIENT). The number of client stations depends on the VENO license purchased. VENO SERVER is configured from within the VENO CUSTOMER program.
The VENO computer system allows simple and intuitive configuration by an authorized user, i.e. the user has the ability to add new modules and line elements to the system on his own. Changing the configuration of VENO software for integrated SSP panels involves uploading a new configuration file for the panel in question.
After this step, the newly added elements can now be freely configured in the VENO system. In addition, the operators of the computer system VENO can take advantage of the additional elements placed on the panels, i.e.: link buttons, labels, images, current event stack, navigation points, virtual zones, video windows, virtual variables, card photo, card information, response buttons, synoptic boards, timers, players, images. Integration System PA VENO records the following incoming events from fire alarm panels POLON 6000 and POLON 4000:
The system also allows the operator to send a CONFIRM and CLEAR signal to the control panel in the event of an alarm, device lock signal, unlock signal, test signal, device test disable signal. The VENO application does not affect the configuration of the SSP control panel and integrated devices. The PA VENO Integration System works with the following fire alarm control panels: POLON 6000, POLON 4100, POLON 4200, POLON 4900 and POLON 4500.
Security in the system integrating POLON-ALFA fire devices against cyber threats is recommended to maintain appropriate security measures:
SIUP security should include attributes in accordance with the standard
PN-I-13335-1:1999 Information technology – Guidelines for information systems security management – Concepts and model for information systems security
which are defined as follows:
CONFIDENTIALITY: a property of data indicating the area in which that data should not be accessed or disclosed to unauthorized persons, processes or other entities.
AVAILABILITY: the property of data or resources that they can be accessed and used at the request of an authorized entity.
INTEGRITY: the property that a system performs its intended function intact, free from unauthorized manipulation, intentional or accidental.
ENFORCEMENT: a property that ensures that the actions of an entity can be uniquely attributed only to that entity.
AUTHENTICITY: a property that ensures that the identity of an entity or resource is as declared. Authenticity applies to entities such as users, processes, systems and information.
INDEPENDENCE: a property denoting consistent, intended behavior and effects. Reliability is a property of an object or system that tells whether an object works correctly under certain operating conditions and over a certain period of time.
The POLON-ALFA fire equipment integration system provides integration of fire protection systems and fire installations such as:
PA VENO works with devices and systems that support the verification of fire hazards, enabling extended management of the facility’s fire safety.
The combination of all security and safety systems forms a coherent whole based on one software. Access to all information within a single panel provides a full view of a situation and enables events to be identified more quickly. VENO not only integrates the systems, but also all the tools that support the work of the administrator, operator, and user.
