PUO-40 - Flame detector (UV)

PUO-40 detector reacts to ultraviolet radiation emitted by the flame with a wavelength of ~200 nm. UV radiation acts on the surface of the detector in the form of a carbonated lamp which, as a result of photoemission, causes an increase in the number of pulses counted by the measuring system. The active surface of the detector is made of quartz glass and must be kept clean; it should not be touched by fingers.

Variety

Conventional UV flame detector.

Application

Designed to detect a flame that occurs during a fire. Detector transmits the alarm signal to the fire alarm control panel when a threat identified

Compatibility

The PUO-40EX detectors can operate in lines/loops of the IGNIS 1000/2000 or the ADC-4001M side line adapter in POLON 4000 fire alarm control panels
