Designated wrench key - PPW-40REx detectors dismantling kit

The PPW-40REx multiband IR detectors consist of a base (socket with connectors and grommets) and a head with system of IR flame sensors, assembled and screwed together in a special ring. As the fit of components (dimensional tolerance between the base and the head) is very tight, special wrench is used to remove the head.

The wrench (along with the resistance elements) is screwed onto the socket in place of the standard ring, then by unscrewing wrench the head is pulled out of the socket.
