The ADR-20R optical smoke detector is designed to identify visible smoke generated in the flameless initial stage of a fire, when the material begins to smolder, i.e. usually long before the appearance of an open flame and a noticeable increase in temperature. It can be installed in confined spaces where smoke, dust and condensation normally are not present.

Autonomous, optical detector of diffuse type of smoke.
Application
The system is designed to detect smoke appearing in the first phase of a fire. When smoke is identified, the detector signals optically and acoustically and switches the alarm relay, thus transmitting the signal to the burglary alarm control panel.
Compatibility
The detector is intended for operation on the detection lines of any burglary and robbery alarm control panel only.
