TUN-38Ex - Universal heat detector - intrinsically safe design

The TUN-38Ex heat (temperature) detector is designed to detect fire hazards in rooms where an instant temperature rise may occur in the first phase of fire or temperature may exceed a certain dangerous level. The TUN-38Ex detector is an intrinsically safe detector, therefore it can be installed in explosion hazard zones. Detector works on the supervised lines of fire alarm control panels manufactured by Polon-Alfa; in potentially explosive environment it is installed downstream the intrinsically safe separator.

Application

The detector is designed to identify the increase in temperature that occurs during a fire. It is installed downstream of the intrinsically safe separator in explosion hazard zones. When a threat is identified,detector transmits the alarm signal to the fire alarm control panel..

Compatibility

The PUO-35EX detectors can operate in lines/loops of the IGNIS 1000/2000 or the ADC-4001M adapter side line in POLON 4000 fire alarm control panels
