FT-40 film is designed for testing the operation of DOP 6001 and DOP-6001R beam smoke detectors.
The FT-40 test film consists of three sheets.It can be used to check the correct operation of DOP-6001 and DOP-6001R beam detectors by simulating 18, 30 or 50% air clarity reduction (in accordance with the set sensitivity threshold of the linear detector).
Correct test performance consists of applying the right foil to the detector cover (the side of its transmitter and receiver) .Properly functioning (and calibrated) device should signal a fire alarm at this point.
