Overview
Conventional Sounder Beacon SAB-6106 is designed for acoustic and optical fire signaling by voice. They have the ability to synchronize the emitted acoustic and optical signals within a group of signaling devices operating in one acoustic and optical space and to mute with an additional button. They are designed to work with all fire alarm control panels, providing the appropriate supply voltage at their outputs.
Design
The essential part of the siren is a piezoelectric transducer used to produce an acoustic signal and an LED with a lens located on the top of the siren. The entire unit is mounted in a housing similar to the Series 40 detector. To mount the siren on the ceiling or wall, use the G-40SK socket made of flame-retardant plastic, supplied with the siren. In the socket there is a connector with screwless terminals – for connecting the installation wires. The connector has six terminals designed to connect wires: two power lines, synchronize signals and mute them with an additional external switch.
