The DOR-4046 processor-based optical smoke detector is designed to detect visible smoke generated in the early stages of a fire, when the material is still smouldering, so generally long before an open flame appears and the temperature rises noticeably.The DOR-4046 detector is an analog detector with automatic sensitivity compensation, i.e. maintaining constant sensitivity in the event of progressive contamination of the measuring chamber and changes in pressure as well as condensation of water vapour.
