TD-809-101 - Smoke detector tester (up to 6 m)

TD-809-101 smoke detector tester uses the A3-001 test aerosol placed in a special head. It is designed for both ionization and optical test of fire smoke detectors.

The smoke detector tester can be supplied in two versions differing in pole length:
– TD809-101 – Two-section telescopic pole of 4.5 m length (allows to test smoke detectors installed up to 6 m of height) and A3-001 aerosol container head.
The aerosol can is placed inside the head of the smoke imitator. The A3-001 is not included in the smoke detector tester kit and must be ordered separately.

The head should be placed around detector and agent sprayed for longer than 1 second Repeat every 10 seconds until the detector signals an alarm. Detector might be damaged if lacks respond during the test During the alarm mode it is neccessarry to move the atomizer further from the detector, allowing aerosol particles to leave the detector’s chamber.
